Reinet came to know the Lord as her personal Saviour at the young age of 4 years.  Her father was a pastor and both her mom and dad served the Lord, ministering in various churches around South Africa. It was during this time that Reinet started learning to play the piano and later her dad taught her the guitar.  She began to compose and write songs and at the age of 16 sang and played her first song on Christmas day in her dad’s church. Reinet has been involved in worship now for over 20 years, from church bands to intimate small group worship, always with evidence of an anointing in prophetic worship. Her experiences growing up as a pastor’s kid and 3 years theological training, has given her a wealth of understanding in the Word and ministry.  This has helped greatly in inspiring her in her song writing for Living Seeds.  The importance of continuously growing in this knowledge of the Word and in the grace and gift of righteousness that is ours in Jesus, is one of the reasons Reinet and her husband Dave started Living Seeds.
